Hurricane Sandy

I was thinking of leaving Kismet Inn Bed and Breakfast going to 'Queens' NYC for a few days just to take a break which is what I usually do after the end of the season.  I decided not to this year because hurricane 'Sandy' dubbed rightly as 'Frankenstorm' was on its way with big warnings of evacuation.  I needed to stay at the inn just incase 'Kennebec River' where out lovely town Bath known as 'Cool little city' sits rose and flooded the town.  The inn sits just a block away on the town green known as 'Library Park' because the town library sits on the park.

I got reports of 'Sandy' traveling and picking up its wrath hourly from my husband as well as keeping myself updated on the internet.  Fortunately, Maine wasn't damaged or devastated like NY and NJ.  We got lots of leaves blown everywhere, branches broken off, tropical rain and finally a rainbow, a magnificent one too archen over the town greeting us with warmth and assuring that all is going to be fine at the end.
